11/29/2023 0 Comments Streamlabs vs obs studioOBS integrates with all major streaming platforms, but it only allows you to choose one of those destinations to broadcast to at a time. It might look a little confusing the first time you open it, and you’ll probably have to watch or read some tutorials before you’re comfortable with using OBS.ĥ. Not many would find this a huge minus, but it’s still a downside nonetheless.Īlthough OBS is totally customizable and free to use, it lacks a little in user-friendliness. Unfortunately, OBS Studio doesn’t run on Windows XP. If you have an audio playlist on your PC that you want to play on your stream, you won’t be able to link to those audio files as sources. However, you can get access to features like chat, overlays and customizations if you connect OBS to Restream - more details on that below. There are ways to add these, but unfortunately, the plug-ins aren’t included in the standard software. The software lacks a variety of features, like chats and customizable themes, also called overlays. The consĪlthough the OBS Studio interface is user-friendly and straightforward, it comes with a downside. You can use features such as multi-channel settings, surround sound and even noise suppression. OBS has a built-in audio mixing dashboard so you can create the perfect sound for your live videos. There’s no OBS watermark on your streams either. OBS is 100% free, with all of its features available to all users without having to pay. Or they offer a free plan but place their watermark over your streams. Many streaming software on the market require a purchase to use. It’s also compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux. OBS Studio supports live streams on practically every popular streaming platform, including Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live and more. For example, if Nvidia releases an update, like a new GPU encoder or driver, OBS Studio will be among the first broadcasting programs to receive it. To achieve the smoothest stream possible, you have two options: either buy a powerful computer or use software that doesn’t put a heavy load on your system’s central processor.īecause OBS Studio is the oldest software of its kind, it receives the latest updates, features and patches quickly. Additionally, the variety of settings lets you configure the program to meet your specs, including the frame rate (fps).Īnother advantage of OBS Studio is its low CPU usage - an especially vital characteristic for streaming. Simply drag and drop every element of the workspace. The OBS Studio interface is fully customizable, from the position of the screen to the size of the windows. OBS lets you live stream and record video at the same time as well. You can also add your camera and mic as sources to make your screen capture more dynamic. OBS is primarily known as a live streaming software but you can also use it as a screen recorder. Because anyone can review the code at any time, it also means bugs and glitches get resolved quickly. It is open-source, which means developers can create customizable plug-ins and awesome effects. Open Broadcaster Software was officially released in 2012. So it’s no surprise that Streamlabs and OBS Studio have almost the same code, except for a few tweaks. This free, open-source, high-performance broadcasting program is considered the precursor to all modern streaming software. This comparison guide will help you decide which one is right for you: OBS or Streamlabs? OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software)Įven if you’re new to live streaming, you may have heard of OBS Studio. Although OBS and Streamlabs are similar in a lot of ways, they have some key differences. Both are compatible with major streaming platforms like YouTube, Twitch and Facebook and both have features that live video content creators need. The two most popular options for live streaming software are OBS Studio and Streamlabs.

Yes, I have not tried this particular one, but seeing as how I have played both of the Virtual Villagers games and Fish Tycoon, I feel somewhat qualified. I'm not trying to make this a heated argument, so please forgive me if I succeed despite that. Plant Tycoon is available to download from these affiliates: Unfortunately, the 1-hour time-limited demo gives you only enough time to just scratch the surface of this amazingly deep game, and it will keep you wanting more like parched soil for a good watering. If you enjoyed Alice Greenfingers but were wishing for something with a bit more depth, then Plant Tycoon may be just what you're looking for. I've found myself taking extensive notes outside the game, which indicates a shortcoming in the game: the tools it provides are constraining and leaves me wanting more from them. What this game needs is a master blueprint or in-game spreadsheet of some kind that the player can fill out as they progress with mapping out all the different varieties. This is where the time-control settings should be used to your best advantage. Since the game is a "real-time" simulation, growing your plants takes "real" time-unless you have available the super effective (and super expensive) Insta-Grow, which super-accelerates plant growth. Unlike the previously reviewed Alice Greenfingers, Plant Tycoon takes a much more precise approach to growing plants and this may actually turn off those who require a bit more action-oriented gameplay. Some supplies can make plants grow and bloom more than usual as well. Also, each plant can be pruned right down to its individual leaves and stems. Even plants from the same seed will appear different, as each plant is grown dynamically, and thus with variation. The attention to detail in the plants grown from seed is incredible. I especially like trying to figure out the cross-pollination sequences required to get to the rare and exotic plants. It's probably better to trash the common varieties than to spend more money than they are worth on a cure.Īnalysis: I have been enjoying this game very much.

During the charge of the ‘The Charge Of The Light Brigade’ there is a lot of elevated and glorious language used in the poem. The countries which took part, in the war were Britain who took on the Republic of South Africa.īritain declared War which made Hardy more devastated. He says that in a different circumstances things might have been different and instead o fighting a man he might have shared a drink with it. In ‘The Man He Killed’ Hardy presents a dramatic monologue in which the speaker is reflecting on killing another and we hear how he thinks war is futile as results oh him killing a man. On the other hand, Hardy’s methods are very different. We sense that Tennyson believed that we should celebrate and honour the brave men that gave up their life during the event but we also feel the horror and sadness of war. The cavalry was given the wrong order my mistake and as they charged towards the Russians cannons they were cut down. Most of his poems celebrated war and shows in the whole pile of poems (The Charge of the light brigade is one of them) that dying for your country is honourable. This meant that he wrote poems celebrating occasions of national importance and honouring the royal family. Britain and France were together and they were both fighting Russia. It was based on the war known as Eastern War in Russia or in UK it is known as Crimean war, which took place between 1853 till 1856. ‘The Charge Of The Light Brigade’ describes a disastrous cavalry charge that took place during the Battle of Balaclava. It is interesting to compare the difference in the poets’ approaches. A poem that celebrates soldiers’ bravery in battle but also shows horror of war is Tennyson’s poem ‘The Charge Of The Light Brigade’. On the other hand, other poets have a patriotic view of war and like to show that dying for your country is honourable. A good example of a poem that shows the pointlessness and sadness of war is ‘The Man He Killed’ by Thomas Hardy. Poets often choose to write about war to show the true human suffering that goes on. Some are in favour of it and some are strongly apposed to it. Many poets have chosen to write on controversial topic of war. 11/28/2023 0 Comments Cherrymax rivetFeel free to email me with any questions. If you have an IPS-panel display, make sure you are not mistaking backlight bleeding with IPS glow. Enable local dimming if your monitor supports it.Reduce the screen brightness until backlight bleeding is unnoticeable.Using a microfiber cloth softly rub the area where the backlight bleeding is prominent (this can reduce backlight clouding). If exposed, mildly loosen the screws at the rear of the display (this can reduce flashlighting).
